Here you go stock and chopped. And its been quite a while but I'm pretty sure the owner we talked to said he was the third person customizing the car so 2 others had started and given up.

Like I said, the yellow one looks squashed like a bug. The blue one is a beauty and I believe belongs to a forum member. Right, Ed?

Correct the blue one is my Dads. He's not on the forum though. Leaves that to me

Don't bother me i have them in stock, chopped, slammed, hot rod, and full race.

Claybill you mean this one! I dig that car, that is what made me do mine. only have this pic on this computer.

That one has a 37-40 Ford rear glass insert.

Which is really odd, because the trend in the 50's was to put in a one piece rear glass from a 41-48 coupe. You can't see squat out those little split rear windows.

one look at old car advertising and you will see that most of our cars were chopped by the artists anyway...

but i agree, a bad chop is like throwing the car off the cliff, destroys it completely. a good chop, however... :D:D:D

and by good i don't mean the amount of steel cut off! the lines are what counts. very often, less is more.

.

I have never understood why anybody would chop a 38-40 Ford coupe. There is nothing you can change on those cars to make them look any better. "Different" is the best you can hope for,but you damn sure ain't going to make it look better.

Yep it took a while to find one, it ain't just the back window that is hard to see out of!
