I can't stress to you guys enough how nice this car is. I have driven it and worked on it. It is such a great car for the price.

I have been trying to get him to post this on here but he hasn't yet.

Someone here should get this!

That price doesn't sound bad, but..........he doesn't have a title. I have three other questions about his description too.

1) If no title, he can't have plates. If no plates how can he drive it daily?

2) He says he's only selling because he really needs the money and doesn't want to trade. Then in the next sentence he says he will trade for a Pre 62 vehicle. So, which is it? Does he really need the money for bills etc.?

3) If he has no windows in either door, how does he drive it daily if it rains?

Not saying the car isn't worth the asking price. Sounds reasonable if he can come up with a title.

Norm;

You have a full set of windows in your coupe. Why dont you drive your car daily? Guess this is an attitude question:eek:

I do know him personally and he does not know that I posted this here. He does drive it alot and it is extremely reliable.

I don't know about the plates but here in NC you can run a YOM plate which does not get registered so you can run any plate you want, a bit weird I might add.

He is in an economic crunch as is the rest of us but like all us car junkies he seems to be open to a good trade.

As for rain, we hardly ever get any.

I hope that answers any of your questions.

In the engine picture there is a preserve jar with a coiled length of tubing. Primative fuel cooler?

I'm guessing that was'nt dealer installed...lol

That is an old timey water injection set-up that works pretty slick. I asked him to help me put one on my car. Maybe it's just a gimmick but I like it.
