mjrobinson62
Thank you all for the warm welcome in my first post last week. I have already been searching the site for all types of topics. And am thrilled with the amount of info available. Several of you asked for more pictures so as promised here is my new toy from every angle.

BobT-47P15
And, in looking at the wheels, they appear to be Mopar wheels with trim rings. Look nice. The little back seats are like the "jump seats" of older models. Here's a Buick convertible coupe with two of those seats......this one is folded up. Don Coatney
DonI am near DC Did you by chance attend the Sully Plantation car show this year?
greg g
Don, you and Chet will need to look him up next time you are at the second home. Maybe stop by Yergins place and get his brake problem worked out so he can drive more than 100 yards. Perhaps though, he is adopting Norm's model of operation.... Jim Yergin
Greg, I assure you my goal is to drive more than 100 yards but right now I am taking very small steps to build up confidence in the car. It is now back on the ground off the jack stands. I have successfully backed it in and and out of the garage. The next test will be up and down the driveway. A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step. Jim

mjrobinson62
I am looking forward to participating in such events, meeting and learning from all. As I said in my original post this is my first venture into this era and this brand. I have tunred wrenches on 944's for the last 20 years and am working on a frame off 63' chevy project and never thought I would end up buying a 47' Plymouth. But I love it. I love the stance, the ride, the vintage flat 6 and the looks I get driving it. I am spending way to much time daydreaming and planing things for it. I have been going to Carlisle and hershey for the last 10 years and I am more excited about this year than ever. I hope to use these shows to help me determine the color to paint my new toy. Trying to decide between a Bright yellow or a flat red (interior is dark red).
Don Coatney
DonI am near DC On my frequent/infrequent trips to your area I stay near the Dulles Town Center. How close are you to there?
Frank Elder
What a platform to start with! I also love those tailights, can't wait to see more. Congatulations, these cars are addictive. If I may ask ,in the rear shot, is the top of the rear window gasket not sealing? Or do I need new cheaters from wally world?
