  2. If you are talking about how far it moves easily with finger pressure, that is just sort of a free play. What you may need to do is put the arm against a solid surface, and apply more pressure to actually make the diaphragm move. Still won't be a lot, but much harder to move than with just finger pressure. EDIT: if you have not already done so please be sure to read about staking the pin for the arm so that it does not fall out. May not apply to your model, but good thing to check.
  3. Saw one of those in my cellar today.
  4. Frank Mitchell passed away in 2014. I believe he was working with the new owners. AMS obselete They continued to use fmmpar on ebay for selling after the purchase.
  5. part # may be 897087
  6. Try making a copy of the pic. Save the larger one for your own use. Resize the copy to under 100kb with "paint". Then try posting. The new site set up will show that 100kb pic well, and you will save some of your site storage allotment by not using 2-3mb pics.
  7. It has been posted that Terrell Machine in DeLeon, Texas repairs these.
  8. Follow line back along frame rail. I expect it is located up high on the frame hump near the rear axle.
  9. not sure why you are quoting me. I am not the one that had concerns on customs fees. That was OP in the first post.
  10. A "search" sometimes gets more results than just asking the question. The question relies on someone seeing it to get a response. I know they have been removed by some, as I have read it on this site. Not saying that you have to search. Just a suggestion that will likely come up with some results
  11. They are hidden a bit, but there's some fins for ya.
  12. EDIT: post edited as OP has a different engine in the vehicle than when it left the plant.
  13. Here's one. I defer to the next pic poster on choice. Already did one. No more ideas Edit: for those thinking that size matters. This pic was taken at a high resolution. It was copied, and resized to 88kb for posting. I'm not sure how much of the webmasters bandwidth it eats up, but I think that it shows that with the new modifications to the site you do not need to post a 2MB pic, and use up your own allotted storage space on the site.
  14. My spark plug wires pretty much only reached the hole they went to, and basically stayed where they belonged when unhooked from a plug. As there was an emoticon with it, surely post 28 was in jest
  15. I have been told that .... HS code 9966.00.00 .......parts for vehicle greater than 25 years old should greatly reduce/eliminate import/duty charges
  16. One problem you have is you do not know what was going on with the engine prior to your purchase of the car. As it was not running before you pulled the head to whack that valve into submission, you have little to go on as a point of reference. As Plymouthy often says, prove what is right first. That way you can help yourself find the problem. Also, with 4 threads about this engine, it can be tough to follow/know where you were/are at
  17. Photos can be done using PM. PM is also the place for addresses, and other private information that you do not want to give to the entire www
  18. It is now it's own forum Click on forums up to the left Scroll down
