  1. Napa online says these are for a 1948 b1d. http://m.napaonline.com/parts/PartsDetail.aspx?k=NDP6411554_0500118039 However I own a p23 so I'm not too sure. Vpw looks like a good bet too. http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/pdf/parts/13wheels.pdf I'm sure the truck guys will steer you in the right direction.
  2. Mine need to be re arched. I saw they build shackles and may be able to help with hardware.
  3. I was gonna try Minnesota spring and suspension. their in NE phone number is 612-788-0400. Minnesotaspring.com. Have not used them and have no knowledge of them but seemed like a good place to talk to about helping with my springs.
  4. Search plyroadking and reverse light switch. He has a great shot oh the tranny with the location of the switch highlighted.
  5. Yes, rear will require a Good purpose built puller. A trick for the front is too back of the adjusters and bolt the wheel on and use that to shake from side to side to loosen the drum off.
  6. Not 100% sure. But I did a quick search. Appears they may be anti chatter springs?? Plymouthyadams can chime in I found that on a reply from a question on a dodge royal. I'd say loosen up the adjusters take off thespindle nut and see if it comes off. Just be safe and remember the bearing is right behind the nut. I'm curious to hear what the spring is for. Pictures always help.
  7. Both rock auto and autozone online catalogs say they have rear wheel cylinders for your truck. Napa does not list them online. Call any good auto store and give them your numbers and they should be able to look Up new ones for you. Did you ask the place that's relining your shoes if they could look for new wheel cylinders?
  8. You can get the shoes relined and arc'd to fit the drums. Look up your local brake and clutch warehouse. Or there are a few places that will do them via mail or ups.
  9. Sounds good. I just replaced all the wheel cylinders I'm going to flip the line and see if that works and make sure the taper is machined right in the wheel cylinder otherwise, I was thinking of having a line made. I did get a few short sections of line and might try to make my own. Thanks again for replying.
  10. Do you have a picture we could view?
  11. https://www.mndriveinfo.org/dvsinfo/MainFramepublic.asp Doesn't have much info on that plate number but you could look up the identification number on the same website.
  12. I have a leaking brake line from my right upper to my right lower wheel cylinder. Do you have and tips for bending this one?
  13. i echo the above statements just add a little soap to the water so you can see the bubbles if you have any leaks.
  14. Those in the Pacific Northwest could verify. But I believe your "beer" assumption is correct.
  15. Sorry it took so long. Just found the instructions and it does not indicate the glass needs to be removed or out before install. And that is on a 51 and it is aftermarket headliner.
  16. 48$ I no nothing about this place. Just found the link online. http://www.myersearlydodge.com/image.php?ws_page=fuel.php&ws_image=MVC-571F.JPG
  17. I had an 07 quad cab with the 4.7 and a six speed man. Only down side was 13 mpg in the city. I only did maitenance for the 70000 miles I owned the truck. Got 20-24 mph on the hwy.
  18. Plugged up fuel filter? Carburetor rebuild? other tune up parts?
  19. What's the purpose for moving it? Is it free or are the brakes hung up? I just moved my p23 around my garage with a floor jack and some will power. As mentioned before tension the line first then pull slow and be sure to have good communication with whomever is pulling and whomever is stopping your car.
  20. This worked on my 51 http://m.napaonline.com/parts/PartsDetail.aspx?k=UBP1243_0380002484 Found link on another thread and used the p/n. Can't remember who listed it.
  21. Thanks don. I have one original black painted wood wheel chock. Albeit has several nails inserted for repair. I just thought the po made something for chocking instead of leaving the car in gear or properly adjusting the emergency brake band.
  22. For curiosity sake is the factory wheel chock made of wood?
  23. riviera. I believe.
  24. I have a 51 and the PO purchased a new headliner. I'll dig through all the paper work and see if I can't find the instructions.
  25. I like the lightening rod shifter!
