  2. My two year old has been glued to the tv when it's on. I think it's a good sign that I sold the motorcycle for the plymouth.
  3. B and E is great I hope the drums not to bad. I hope to switch to front discs over the winter. So it's not the end of the world. But front brakes are basically the only thing that slow these cars down. I'm sure I will have many more questions.
  4. Found this on ebay. I'm going to double check everything. But this spindle should swap into a 51. Please correct me if I'm wrong. http://m.ebay.com/itm/121515035110?nav=SEARCH
  5. I'll post a few pics when I can pull it apart may be a few days. Just curious if maybe it was caused by a loose castle nut or bad front end parts at some point in the last 64 years.
  6. New to forum, it's been a great asset for my new too me 51 cranbrook 4 door. Just replaced rear brakes. Pulled off fronts to check condition. Right front was good, left front drum is gouged pretty deep. Seems like it may not be able to be turned out, but I live close to an excellent brake shop so I will have them try. The troubling part is the spindle is equally gouged. Any idea what could have caused this? Bearings are good and front end is tight. Gonna enjoy it as a weekend cruiser and rebuild as needed over the winter any ideas of the cause or prevention would be greatly appreciated. As I hope to locate a new spindle in the near future.
  7. Found this link today. Looks spendy if they have them but could be a good link. http://www.vapinc.com/mopar/Brake%20Drums/main.html
