  1. Good pictures, Bob. People having fun is always good to see.
  2. Looks like you're gonna be the guinea pig this time, Greg. I did the Clabber girl.
  3. No need to disconnect the vaccuum line as there is no signal until the throttle is opened.
  4. Boy, those are some top-notch cars there. Good to see all that American iron in Sweden. It looks like the show could have been anywhere in the US! Thanks for posting.
  5. Good ole Cooper. what more could you want? It's perfect, Bob.
  6. Tap it a few times while the leads are hooked to a battery. The brushes may be a little stuck.
  7. J Edgar needs and deserves to be seen by others. Other people WANT to see that car. Go!
  8. That is a neat picture! Who left that stinkin nash on the corner?
  9. Now yer talkin'. That hook looks like its made for use on a nail.
  10. I seem to remember that using laquer thinner on my steering wheel dissolved whatever the wheel is made of. Some kind of synthetic hard rubber? Sometimes these threads need a guard rail to keep them on track. Fifty some years ago selling naptha from a 50 gallon drum behind the hardware store, its what you got whatever you asked for. Some people would ask for naptha, others wanted white gas. Nobody complained.
  11. Good question, Don. I have substituted each for the other and saw no difference. I think Coleman fuel cost more because they add green color. It costs more because people will pay more.
  12. Coleman fuel, white gas, mineral spirits, all the same thing.
  13. Slip some short lengths of copper tubing inside those hoses. Or maybe pieces of electrical conduit. Maybe BX cable housing.
  14. Well, dang. Never mind.
  15. That settles it. I'm doin' it! Put a hunnert watter in there and I won't need a block heater either!
  16. Maybe a clear window with a small light behind it?
  17. I just deleted the DHL message in this mornings spam. I get it about once a month.
  18. Those are metal wheel covers, not fake whitewalls.
  19. Sorry, I made a typo there. I meant to type 42's have hidden headlights.
  20. Looks like a 46-48. 46's have hidden headlights.
  21. Attach a vaccuum guage and hold the rpms at a steady 1200-1500 rpm. If the vaccuum drops slowly and stays low, check for a potato in the tailpipe. Don't ask.
  22. Fultons mount with two screws inside each door frame below the gutter. The center brace clamps around the windshield divider bar. Those are definitely fulton brackets you have there.
