  1. Happy day. All of the bodywork sheetmetal is in color and clear coat. Haven't fixed the mistakes and dirt nips or buffed/polished it yet but I'm finished painting large pieces.
  2. sounds to me as if he called before he posted here. He was just asking to see if the NOS parts were good or not.
  3. I'm getting to the stage where I need to get my Offenhauser dual carb setup on. I cannot find my instructions from Offy. If anyone has photos they'd like to share of an Offy set up with strombergs, throttle linkage especially, I would greatly appreciate them. Photos are worth thousands of words. Thanks.
  4. Found this on youtube. looks and sounds pretty darn good. part 2
  5. As I replied to your FB post. It can be done without breaking anything.
  6. Have had visitors from England for the last 10 days so not much getting done. Put the body back on the frame yesterday. Beginning to look like a car instead of a bunch of cancer ridden parts.
  7. west side of the cook inlet at big lake. due west of Kenai Alaska.
  8. brown bear. A grizzly bear that lives near salmon streams and because of the abundance of food gets much larger than a normal interior grizzly bear. That one was a sow with 3 cubs. We also saw another sow with 3 cubs and 1 boar.
  9. Went and did some local river rafting with some friends from England today. Enjoy.
  10. On the 150 miles of paved road around me there have been 189 hit since last July 1st.
  11. Here's 3 quick ones. Can't see the color very well unless I turn a very bright work light on it. Looks black without the bright light.
  12. the wife has had 3 moose run out in front of her in a week. summertime isn't as bad as winter due to the long hours of sunlight. We can see them better. body is still on the cart sitting in the paint booth. I'll try and take a photo or 3 today and post up.
  13. Hope this helps. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=1946+dodge+-truck%2C+-pickup%2C+-trucks&_sop=10&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X1946+dodge+channel+-truck%2C+-pickup%2C+-trucks.TRS0&_nkw=1946+dodge+channel+-truck%2C+-pickup%2C+-trucks&_sacat=0
  14. Welcome Rich. A parts manual is your best friend. Find one on ebay.
  15. finally got the body in color and clear coat. doesn't show up well inside but I brought the cowl vent out into the sunlight. The photo still isn't as impressive as it is in real life. Very impressed with how it came out. No orangepeel at all.
  16. How can you enjoy a vehicle to the fullest when you have so many? Nice cars though.
  17. I think they'll work even if 1/8" short. Thanks.
  18. yep i can find phillips but no slotted, need 3
  19. #12 - 11 X 5/8"
  20. no but the under hood braces use really course threaded screws. Wood screws are the only ones that I can find that look the same.
  21. 12 will work. I found some phillips type at home depot. will go with those if something doesn't turn up in a couple of days. They fasten the hood braces to the hood.
  22. Wow. Once I logged in as a business they want $23.60 for 100. Might as well order the 300 for $15. Can't believe it's so tough to find a 5/8" round head screw.
  23. I don't see any round head screws listed DB.
  24. that's the one that needs a $15 minimum order. I'd have to order 300 to get that.
