I change a Hobbs meter once in one of my airplanes at work, I had to match the times so I hooked the new one up to a power supply and let it run till it matched. I think it took about a week or two to get the correct number.

I found this model on ebay, must be from back in the 80's. Will look good on my shelf when I build it .

Yes Don, I will be flying with them to the airshows. The plan is to make a rotating schedule in the future with the rest of the maintenance guys. Should be a fun experience! Thanks guys for the kind words.

It's nice working on clean corporate jets but my current company had me over worked and the phone never left my ear 24-7-365 never knew when I was off and kept my fingers crossed and hoped I didn't have to go in on holidays. I did switch to GEICO about a month ago and saved half (was with Allstate). I didn't want to ask and sound greedy so I don't know if I will get any discounts.

I have accepted the position as director of maintenance for the company below. They are an aerial team that is based out of republic airport in Farmingdale NY. Yes, many have been killed since the war started but most of them were fighting for our country,they didn't deserve to be killed either but the victims of 9-11 were innocent people minding their own business not knowing what was going on.
