  1. Thanks Oh Bodacious One ! Where do I send your comission
  2. Not a problem Phill. Just pay what ever the post office wants to get it there.
  3. My 52 is Armour Yellow and I painted the rims Dodge truck cream (previously sun lemon yellow) I like the cream color on all the truck colors except Armour Yellow. I covered my rims with wheel covers cause it think the colors clashed. I'm planning on painting them black one of these days.
  4. What are the advantages of doing body work in the buff ?
  5. Jon, If you still have the original radiator in your 42 it should look like my 42 Coupe radiator. They were non pressurized systems. The water was probably coming out of your overflow tube at the top of the radiator. In my photo it's the little round thing on top of the tank with the tube coming out of it.
  6. Nice photo Jon. I hope you got to go ahead of the horses.
  7. Pat, I'm not sure what photo you are referring to. There are 3. Say again? The reserve on this is well under $500. Reg OH .....OK....Last time I looked at your post the photo was not there. Now I get it ! 7"
  8. I have a these. They're from a boat. I wonder if they would work. They only have 2 connections on the back and a light socket.
  9. Young tender hairless rodents are good eatin too.
  10. I listed this factory dual exhaust manifold for the 25" long engines yesterday on eBay. Hopefully someone here will win it and if so I will lend you the factory linkage so you can make your own. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120262784938
  11. Thanks Don....dang....the answer was right there staring me in the face the whole time.
  12. I thought the troublesome ones were Petronix not the HEI.
  13. Yup....time to drop the tank I guess. Does everything always have to happen in 3's? My 35 is on the rack right now with a leak in the tank on top. My 59 is in line for the rack with a gas leak it developed on the way back from the Pilot House BBQ. "Take a number 38 Coupe"
  14. I decided to stay stock so I just listed this on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120262738156
  15. That's a good idea Norm but I'm not having that sort of problem with my 38. When I topped my tank off with the 4 gallons the filler neck was 1" from overflowing.

  17. No problem Ed. I'll forward your birthday wish along to the seller.
  18. I sell the templates for all the interior panels for $40 including postage. I donate $10.00 of each sale to the Pilot House Club.
  19. I just discovered something strange with my 38 Dodge coupe. I have run out of gas 3 times since I've owned it. The gauge doesn't work so I keep track of the mileage and fill up after about 100 miles. Three times now I thought I'd travel maybe 150 miles cause the tank holds 16 gallons and I should be getting at least 15 mpg's. I should be able to go 200 miles easily before running out of gas right ? Well.....The last time I ran out of gas was in my brothers driveway after only traveling about 120 miles. I thought it must be a bad fuel pump so I installed a new one. Still no fuel to the carb so I bummed 4 gallons from him and it started up after priming the carb. I then drove right to the gas station. It only took 4 more gallons meaning it's only running on the top 8 gallons at about 15 mpg's. I guess a previous owner did something strange to the pick up tube. Oh yeah......I really dislike unplanned hikes.
  20. Well, if the filters are clear you are either out of gas or the pump is not doing it's job. You might try blowing air into the fuel line just before the fuel pump to see if the line and pick up tube are clear. Have someone listen at the tank for air bubbles. Here's a fuel problem I diagnosed by simply walking along the highway. I just discovered something strange with my 38 Dodge coupe. I have run out of gas 3 times since I've owned it. 21. Merle, My brother has a small sign shop in Florida. I'll see what he'd charge for several dozen sets. I use to reface old car gauges back in the late 70's. It might be fun to start up again. My mail order business thru Hemmings and swap meets was..........hold on........."DASH GLASS"
  22. Will do Dirty D. I'll donate it in your name. Thanks, Reg
  23. Hole Cow Dirty Dan ! I think you've got it ! That was fast > > > > PayPal OK ? Hey, I think I'll buy that gauge cluster and install my new temp.sending unit and re-list it.
