Hi Randy,You may be aware of this,but I thought I'd mention that although it's handy,duct tape isn't UV resistant and is generally a short term proposition outdoors.

...Maybe a longshot,I'm guessing you have an oil bath air cleaner.I realize it's on the pass. side but if leaking with the car jacked at an angle oil might appear on driver side.-Reason I mention this I had one leak a lot of oil all of a sudden all over my engine for no apparent reason and I guess the metal was thin along a crease since manufacture and after a period of years a leak developed.I just built the area up with lead solder and it was fine.

I took this photo last weekend.Heat shields on a Hudson dual carb.They were stainless...Interesting shape - dished slightly upwards on block side,I guess to help direct heat/air flow

Lil and I will be celebrating twice this week-bonus!- Canada day was on Wed, July 1 - and we'll be celebrating Independence Day,July 4 on Sat with friends here in Lethbridge complete with fire works (small display) in comparison to some hope everyone has a great weekend..

I bought one from him this Spring.He said it was one of the last of his stock.It is a "second", cost was $100, plus mailing-not show quality but It looks fine to me.He apparently had an order for these made up about 10 years ago from the original manufacturer and has sold pretty well all of the stock he had.

That looks like my garage time.I'm happy to have a garage,I only wish it was larger-now that I'm retired deadlines and commitments are things of the past
