  1. A new forum GTK added to this great site...check it out: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/forumdisplay.php?f=25
  2. Fred, we have been mostly sunny and warm for a couple of weeks now. Forecast for today (Friday) is +10c (50f). Gotta love those Rocky Mountains!!!! (that's where we get the warm dry air for those who don't know)
  3. For those unaware, there is a new forum that maybe you should check out along the lines of this thread: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/forumdisplay.php?f=25 Check out the main foum page as well
  4. what time do you want to do it? I have magic markers
  5. But I do not have any incorrect links. I only have a few and I checked and they are already done in the manner explained in the email. One post suggested that PB may be referring to outsiders linking to photos.
  6. See, that's why when you terminate someone, you have security escort them to the door!!!! It would be interesting to know the REAL story on this PR disaster.
  7. I got one as well and it is quite confusing because first of all I only have a few linked and they are all done using the direct link they say I'm not using. I'm trying to figure out how this would be a scam but don't see how they would gain unless it's in the links in the email which I didn't and won't click on. Something is fishy OK, there is some confusion: http://forums.photobucket.com/showthread.php?t=24358
  8. As I look back I realize that the radio in my cars has played a huge part in my life. If I went to buy a car these days without tunes, I would walk past it. Just yesterday there was a launch of a new FM station playing oldies here to go along with the Classic Country station that is about 3 years old. (listen online for a sample) http://www.classiccountryam1060.com/ http://www.xl103.ca/ Most of my collection of music has some connection to cars at some point. I seem to prefer radio to recorded music as well...radio today is pale in comparison to radio of the past but I still listen in the car/truck all the time.
  9. Gee, Norm, you don't knowwhat you're missing. There's a ton of classy old video on Youtube that hasn't seen the light of day for decades like the one Don posted of Dave Dudley and Six Days On The Road. Some great old car commercials, some great old comedy like Foster Brooks that can't be seen anywhere else. Heck, I even found a shirt-tail relative on Youtube that I had never heard of...discovered while doing my family tree. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8PNsmFmjfE
  10. I just noticed this forum...great idea and I agree, Ed, Gerald should be first to be honored here for the best forum going for sure!!! Thanks Gerald!!!
  11. Joe, my '50 DeSoto might have a good one if you want it.
  12. I can't say that I am sad to see the bubble burst in the old car hobby. I hope we have seen the last of Barrett-Jackson on TV as well. It means my car isn't worth as much, but it ain't for sale anyway. The unfortunate part is that the reason for the bubble bursting is a general slump in the economy and that is gonna hurt alot of people.
  13. Looks like an old headboard from a metal bed on the front bumper
  14. Sounds like a happy customer is important to Mr Roberts. A rare thing these days, that near extinct thing called customer service. Congrats to you and to Mr. Roberts...a class act by the look of it.
  15. PlyDo has a kit for the rack. I think it uses a Cavalier unit. As for floor pans, have a look at what forum member Joe Flanagan did to his... Body mounts are available from the suppliers listed on the main page of this site, thanks to GTK, the owner of the site. Also, you will get many more responses by posting in the main forum.
  16. That's how I did mine...how about some tricks on replacing them so they won't leak later???
  17. These two books give some info. The second one tells how to check the control arms. The kingpins are easy to check leaving the tie rod ends, which if in doubt replace as they are cheap and easy to replace. This one gives alignment specs http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/017/index.htm This one gives upper control bushing clearance http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/005/index.htm
  18. Pin them to what and why? Who would do such a thing?
  19. You guys are way too good at this!!! Glad you are posting for us to tag along. I really enjoy watching pro's do their thing...inspiring. Thanks Tim!
  20. What's a clothespin? Never seen one in use, what do they do?
  21. Looks really good to me. Keep us posted on your progress!! Looks like a very nice big well-lit shop, too.
  22. And those trucks are full of expensive electrical stuff...hahahahaha
  23. We can't use those in Canada because there are no French instructions!!!!
  24. I think we would ALL sign a permission slip!!!!
  25. Maybe those folks standing by doing nothing were nervously looking for Mama Grizzly...she would definitely have had something to say!!! When I was a kid, we would stop along the highway on the way to Banff or BC and visit with the cubs and even Mama sometimes. I never knew how dangerous it was...obviously the parents didn't either. No recollection of anything bad happening at the time, although there must have been incedents. Have a few pics here somewhere...
