  3. Ya, once the cylinder is out, you can turn it with a screwdriver.
  4. Take a small punch and drive the 'button' down into the cylinder.
  5. Cool. Super nice guy. I cheated and drove down to his house. You should see the old radio equipment and juke boxes he has!
  6. Welcome!!! You've also got a super rare passenger side sun visor.
  7. Be sure to use the 'truck parts wanted' section when you're ready. Here's a place that sells new chrome parking light rings and lenses ('51 Jeep truck): http://www.kaiserwillys.com/category/s?keyword=parking+light
  8. Welcome!! Nice Panel If you have the serial number, you can plug it in here: http://www.t137.com/registry/help/decode.php The engine should have a serial number stamped on the side of the head above the generator. The '50 motor would have started with T-172******* http://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/tengines.html Both Roberts and Bernbaum are forum sponsors: http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/store/trucks http://www.oldmoparts.com/parts.aspx More vendors: http://www.dodgecentralmi.com/ocart/ http://www.steelerubber.com/ http://www.pilothouseinteriors.com/ A great reference book: http://www.amazon.com/Dodge-B-Series-Trucks-Restorers-Collectors/dp/1583880879 More knowledge: http://dodgepilothouseclub.com/know/know.htm

  10. This is an original bumper with the Dodge Central of Michigan brackets.
  11. Yep, mid to late '50's Dodge truck bumper. Not correct for the B series trucks.
  12. Welcome! Looks like a great starting point.
  13. Careful!!! Tod might think you're trying to sell them to Paul. Posted by TodFitch here: http://p15-d24.com/topic/33411-wanted-and-for-sale-ads/ " This moderator's interpretation of GTK's mandate: 1. Threads for the sole purpose of requesting and advertising parts should be directly listed in the classified section. 2. When an active normal thread twists to a part being offered, or at any hint of a parts transaction..that should be done off the forum and handled by private e-mail or a PM..." And nobody cares about threads going off topic. LOL
  14. Whitish bumper at the front of the trailer (I think the front) is a mid to late '50's Dodge truck/panel rear bumper. The other bumper looks like a '48-'50 front bumper. Hold off on cutting/welding running boards. I might have a line on two pair.
  15. Welcome!! More pics if ya can.
  16. Nice truck David!! Nice to see a truck in the 'Let's see pics of you're truck' thread.
