That is one pretty car. What is the round object behind the driver's seat? looks like a spare wheel cover?? I guess if I had millions. . . well my dad said "If my grandmother had balls she would be my grandfather" then there was my Mom who was better mannered "If wishes were horses beggars could ride" The first time I heard that one I said "Huh??" Eric
Rodney, The pics that showed up here will suffice. I have always loved the Studes. Like your other cars the color scheme on the 41 is great. I too am not real fond of snakes. They don't bother me if I know where they are at. It is when they sneak up on ya that it is disturbing!! Eric
Rodney, is that your Stude there? I don't believe I have seen that one before. Congrats on the trophy. You need a page on Photo Bucket or somewhere. You have a great collection of cars. Eric
Poor guy lost his grip. But I have been offered items before and the seller wanted me to keep it never sell it !! I was upfront and told him that somewhere down the road I might sell it. Once it is sold it is no longer yours. There are some artists now who sell with a contract that they are due a commission on all later sales. Not a bad idea. Most art isn't worth a lot until you croak. Eric
If I understand you corectly you are engaging the OD while in 2nd? I thought the purpose was for a higher gearing ( to act like a 4th gear). Just a wondering.Eric
I helped a guy use a sod cutter once to remove a bad section of yard as we rolled up the peices a Robin was following a feet back to get grubs. I started picking them up and tossing them to the Robin. With the right food I think just about any animal will come close. Don't try this with bears. Eric
Marty, this is from a sub-novice so take it for what its worth, Can a resistor be used to drop the voltage like they do for the radio when converted to 12V? Eric
Steve, it is looking good. Original paint? I have driven through Southern Illinois a few times. I have always been on my to Florida and it always amazed me that it was so wooded and Southern. Nice place. I replaced a few feet of my wiring after following your lead. Thanks, Eric
I never think of using our local stores because I am so used to them not having what I need but I should check out Motor Parts Central. They have a huge Mopar sign from their earlier store that they moved inside. I should take a picture of it. They do sell speed equipment. Eric
Cool, there are a lot of them out there. Sure seems the way to go for higher speeds. I don't know why I thought the drive shaft needed to be shorter. Thanks, Eric
Feed Bag? I have seen pictures of them, anyone have a close up? I like the idea. Good Luck , Don.
PS "It is the Sooner State because they like to cheat at races". Eric
I know James has one (hope he gets it figured out) and Pete has one. Who else? I am interested in getting one in my car somewhere down the road. To install one does the drive shat have to be shortened? I have looked at Pete's website and didn't see that info. Maybe I just missed it. I like to read "Classic &Sports Car" a British magazine. They ran an article on an Overdrive Repair service.
"How to keep an overdrive working?" use it sensibly- don't go to slow with it engaged. . . . .And if it doesn't engage pretty instantly switch it out and get it looked at" Eric
Bill are you going to drive your car to Des Moines? Does the Offy stuff show up on there web page? I am thinking of checking out the Des Moines show. About 230 miles from me. Eric
