  1. I had to make this metal plate, when I disassembled the grills noticed that it didn't exist. What happens? And your grill is it ok?
  2. Hank, don't forget, before install your new shocks, you have to do five times compress and extend it.Did you do this?
  3. Dave72dt,I am speaking in original B3-B rear shock. Are you too?
  4. dontknowitall, measure the distance between the rear mount shock, that will be approach the shock compressed length + 1/2 travel. This is very simple,no? or " rear mount length=compr. length+1/2 travel"
  5. Apreciate this rare pic and answer your questions about rear shock absorbers.
  6. Tomorrow I will see the angle measure of the B3-B rear shock absorber in degrees. In this pic we can see that is impossible to change the shock mount to the center of the truck, because the brake hose suport don't permit,ok?I want to show this pic too for Dave72dt
  7. Fernando, A shorter shock (shorter collapsed length) should help you out or move the top shock mount closer to the center of the truck. It's odd that a shock with same dimemsions as original doesn't fit. Did they get the correct arch when they redid your spirings?(Dave72dt)
  8. Tomorrow I will see the angle measure of the B3-B rear shock absorber in degrees. In this pic we can see that is impossible to change the shock mount to the center of the truck, because the brake hose suport don't permit,ok?I want to show this pic too for Dave72:)
  9. Anyone can show us in a pic the approach /correct angle in degrees of the B3-B rear shock absorber? Thanks.
  10. Did they get the correct arch when they redid your spirings? I can't answer this question.I don't know which was the correct arch/angle.My B3-B 1952 has all the side rail L&R dual reinforcement welded(thick). Not with the crossmembers.I don't know why.Perhaps, here in Brazil the '50 roads decade were very bad.Thanks.
  11. 1952gare,mine B3-B(1952) doesn't match the L&R front number of leaves spring too.I have to work on it.The L&R front thickness leaves springs are differents, don't know which is the original. It is on the level. The right front side don't have the original rear shackle U-Bolt.I have to make. Here in Brazil don't have original parts.
  12. I am thinking to try(change) another very SHORT shock. What do you think?
  13. Dave72dt,EXCUSE ME! I was wrong. Instead very short, the correct,I could say became VERY LONG.Understood?
  14. lugnut123 show us this process in youtube video.
  15. Is it a PLYMOUTH 1941 coupe?
  16. Ok guys.I bought mine 5 pieces(5/16"-3/4") for R$67,00 or $35.
  17. This is my problem too with my B3-B.Year ago I redo all the rear springs with 6 leaves each,shackles,pins.....When I tried to put a NAKATA shock absorber, they don't match. The put the same measures of original(compressed:16",extended:25,5",travel:9,5").The shocks(NAKATA) that I bought became very short). There was no problem with the front.
  18. The instrument panel oil gauge indicates oil pressure delivered to camshaft, crankshaft, timing chain and connecting rod bearings when engine is running.Proper registration should be not below 10 on idle nor more than 80 at speeds above 10 miles per hour.
  19. Hank, today is(was) the last saturday of the summer here in Brazil. We are entering in fall.Have you all a good spring time and take advantage of.
