  1. Never saw nor knew this process. Can you show me with pics? Thanks:)
  2. The rubber gasket became fair.
  3. Decided to put a rubber gasket in the RAM.
  4. Before you drill any holes you need to make sure the curvature of the hood matches the curvature of which Ram more closely. I am trying to show you a pic of a B3-B green,I got in this forum, with the same curvature as mine, although with larger RAMS(1951-53) for cars.
  5. No Reg thanks,I am very satisfied with mine. When I was trying to buy it here in Mercado Livre web, there was other guy here in São Paulo that said to me:Fernando buy my RAM,because it is the correct for your PU.His RAM is different too he was sure that I will do a good business. He said too that lived during two years in the USA.He was asking $230 for his RAM.I payed $115 for mine and exists one same as yours(1948-1951) in Curitiba-Paraná-Brazil,the owner is asking $120.Did you see the googlesite?I saw a Dodge 1950 car with the same short RAMs like mine.Large RAMS began in 1951 until 1953.:eek:Tomorrow I will study how to drill my hood.
  6. isn't that a 51-52 car ornament ? Reg, I saw now various pics in the googlesite, but I couldn't send to you.All the Dodges Coronet 51-52 and 53 have this same ornament with larger RAMS of the red 1953 B4 truck(Dodgeb4ya).

Was it part of a cab package or an idividual item and was it available in 1952? Yes it was a extremely rare option and is listed in the Dodge truck parts book. Looks the same as a 1953 dodge car hood ornament but has larger rams. Bob I got the conversation between Dave72dt and Dodgeb4ya.
  8. Reg,I remembered this other pic in my archive I got days ago.The front name plate DODGE is a B4(1953).I think it is from someone of this forum.Regards.
  9. I agree with you Reg.I noticed too that the townwagon's eBay RAM(1954-1957) is not according with this pic that you send to me.In this pic we see that the last RAM with only head is from 1951-53.The others all RAMs are with head and body.Regards.
  10. Ok,finally I am very satisfied with my luck in get this hood RAM ornament for mine B3-B(1952).Now I will make a rubber gasket to put in the hood.I am in doubt if is best to paint it with chrome spray.Give your suggestions. Thanks to Reg help.

  15. Reg,I found now a Dodge Coronet 1953 car with RAM hood ornament. They are the same because have only head.
  16. OK Reg.I noticed two differences on e-bay ornament, mine don't have ear nor eyes.I am sure that mine don't have the body, has only head.I asked to you which material exist between the RAM and the hood(rubber or wood?).
  17. Yes Reg,there are two numbers under 9583(*)1456250 DPCD I want to know which kind of material is between the RAM and the hood(rubber or wood?).Thanks.
