  1. Just curious, the picture of the T5 transmission above showing the piece that covers the output shaft that is set off to the side. This is the piece that the large ring is pressed on to. I wanted to remove it to make it easier to press on the ring. How is removed? Is it pressed on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Jim
  2. Dave, Your shop looks great. The last time I was there you were into your truck pretty good so everything was a mess. That is not ment to criticize, just a fact when we are in the middle of working on a project. Your truck looks good and now you have a cool. clean place to park her. Great job Dave. Jim Roach
  3. If you look through the windshield in picture #4 you and see the passenger door frame inside the cab of the truck. I don't think it was staged either. Jim Roach
  4. They told me that all the mods were done with Mopar parts. It was very important to them that any changes to the truck would have to be genuine Mopar parts. I agree! Jim Roach
  5. Check out this local truck! Come to find out it belongs to a local Girl named Tara and her husband, I think he had a Roadrunner, not sure. I couldn't keep my eyes off the truck. Sorry the pictures came out the way they did. It's been a while since I downloaded pictures. Had to have Reg help me out. Thanks Reg for the help. Jim Roach
  6. Jim, In my search I actually found both. The pics above are mine that I had polished. I found a few more that I brought to the same guy that polished these. That's when I found out they were chrome because he wasn't able to polish them. The key is to look for rust on the outer skin, no rust would probably mean stainless. Good luck. Jim
  7. Fernando, Very clear. Must be a quality phone.
  8. Looks great Merle. I always enjoy seeing pictures of everyone's progress. It keeps us all inspired. Jim
  9. If your asking where to get your disk brake kit, email Charlie Achers @ olddaddy@rustyhope.com. He'll fix you up with a great kit. I know, I have one. Jim Roach
  10. I think I may still have one. Give me a couple of days and I'll look. Jim Roach
  11. Dave, I don't know if you have an A&A Auto Parts stores down your way. That's where I got my 6V fuel pump. I can't recall what brand it is off the top of my head. Let me know if you need more help, I'll research it more. Jim Roach
  12. For all of you that have been looking for a gas tank, check this out on EBay #230328701547. Starting bid is $45. I don't know who this is but it's worth a look at. Jim Roach
  13. I like the steering column support! Jim
  14. Bob, I want to thank you on job well done! I received my 2009 calendar today and I have to say, I am impressed. I had an antique truck calendar from a local dealership all set to hang in my office at work, until today. I think the "other calendar" will make its way to the garage. My Job-Rated calendar will be hanging in my office. Like you said in your letter it's nice to be associated with a club that is so willing to help each other. To all of you from me and my family here in northeastern Pa. have a merry Christmas and happy and prosperous new year. Jim Roach
  15. Hi Merle, I've given that some thought from time to time myself. I would really rather see someone get it that can use it for what it was intended. Jim
  16. Brian, Where are you located. I might have something that you would be interested in. Jim Roach
  17. Dave, Your truck looks great! I still plan on taking you up on your offer to come up and bleed my brakes with your pressure unit. I have been tied up with other projects and just havn't had the time, but we'll get to it soon. Thanks again for the offer. Jim Roach
  18. Here is a picture of my disc brakes fully assembled on my bench. Some day I'll get around to installing them. Time is my biggest problem. Good luck:) [/img]
  19. Reg, I wish it would fit the short block, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
  20. Fernando, Your truck looks great. You did a good job and you should be proud of your hard work.
  21. I ordered a rear brake cylinder from bernbaun that turned out to be bad and they wouldn't replace it or refund my money. I ended up purchasing one from NAPA that worked out great. Bernbaun must just carry junk.
  22. I agree it looks like a "55" based on the two grill bars and no job rated center piece.
  23. Hi Everyone, I had the opportunity to spend Saturday with my wife, Kathy, celebrating our 33 anniversary at the Great Pottsville Cruise here in PA. We got to see some of the nicest cars in PA. The best part was that it was her idea. The cruise was sponsored by Jerry’s Classic Cars & Collectibles Museum in down town Pottsville. The Museum had this 1952 Dodge Panel truck pictured below. I had the chance to talk to Jerry about it. He told me the truck was purchased just a few years ago from a local elderly couple by the name of Huebner, that had run this little corner grocery store for the past 50+ years. Jerry drove the truck to the museum and parked it. Other than dressing it up for the display it’s exactly the way he bought it. Jerry used items from the Huebner’s store for the display. The museum was just great, a real trip into the past. Another memorable part of the trip was getting to meet Dennis Gage, the host of Mt Classic Car. That’s me when he was signing my shirt. I also had him sign my hat. Before I had a chance to get a posed picture with Dennis, security whisked him away to do an interview with a local TV station. I also got to meet Genevieve Chapell of ESPN’s Bidding Wars. It was just a great day all the way around. [/img][/img][/img][/img][/img]
  24. Merle, Good job! Your truck looks great. Based on the prices we have seen other trucks in the same condition as yours, you should have a $45-$50,000 truck. Again, you have a great looking truck that you should be very proud of. Jim Roach
  25. Hi everyone! Haven't been around for a while because of some family issues and as a result I haven't had time to even look at my truck. I want to thank everyone for their help. Merle has suggested that I have a problem with air in the lines and I think he is 100% correct. It just so happens that Grey Beard has made a great offer. He has offered to come to my house and bring along his pressure bleeder to fix my brake problems. I'll keep everyone informed on how we make out. Thanks again, Jim Roach
