What is going on with the classified ads?
P15-D24 posted a topic in Forum Announcements And Feedback
After our most recent system/security upgrade the third party package used for classified ads was completely incompatible with the new system software. The publisher of the classified package appears to be aware of the issue as an early beta release to fix the problem was posted. That was over six months ago and I tried contacting for an update to the products status. Since I have had no response after several weeks I'm assuming the package is abandoned and he has no interest in upgrading the product. I have created a temporary work around by creating two forums for classified ads. Please follow the rules and if you have any questions/issues with placing an ad contact me at info@p15-d24.com. The forum software vendor (IPS) has scheduled a major product upgrade for early 2025. (V4 to V5.x) The good news is a a highly regarded third party publisher has announced he will be releasing classified ad system with the V5 release. I currently use 4 or 5 of his products and have been very satisfied with the quality and support he has provided.-

For Sale ads will cost $4.99 for 30 days and are deleted after 30 days. To place a For Sale ad... First, post your ad in the For Sale Classified Ads The ad will not appear until after payment is made. Next make your payment by purchasing a "For Sale Classified Ad 30 Day Subscription". in the Store When payment notification is completed your For Sale ad will be approved and run for 30 days.

Today's update has resulted in several changes short and long term. Most importantly the Classified section is currently not available because of some incompatible code that literally crashes the site. IPS is the vendor that supplies the core software for the site, including the forums, downloads, gallery, blog, and store. As a result when an upgrade is done the optional modules will work without any issues. Other features like the links and classified page are from third party suppliers. Unfortunately the author for the classified section has not updated his code to work with current version, and ISP server environment and it causes a fatal issue. They have a new version in beta but I'm concerned about the long term viability (and interest) of the publisher and will be switching to a different publisher for the classified functionality. If you has a paid ad running and didn't get your full 30 days, contact me (info@p15-d24.com) and I will get you a free ad when the new software is up in running. The bigger issue to consider is while many "neat" add ons are available add-on software support becomes a critical problem when the original publisher loses interest or just doesn't make enough money to be worth his time.

Not the way I like to start a Sunday morning.... For some reason a section of the database had a corruption error. Usually this is a quick fix but ran into some additional issues while trying to do the repair. Looks good now and hopefully won't happen again. It has been years since the last time something like this happened so that is was I'm hoping for 😉

Ammco Safe Arc Cam Grinding Brake Shoes purchase

OK I'm going to let this stay so you can get a gauge on how much interest for this kind of service might exist. However if you proceed this needs too be in there Classified section as a paid ad unless your going to offer the service for free. -
Where I live it's constant battle with rats and mice getting into our cars and ATVs. (And don't get me started on gophers in the lawn!) I set traps all around, mix up the baits and knock them back for a while, then they start back. We have plenty of predators: owls, snakes (including diamond backs) cats and dogs which all do their share, but they still show up. I think you just have to be proactive all the time. The YouTube traps using baking soda and like a corn bread mix actually seem to work but like all traps you have to keep the bait fresh. And as Plymouthy said you have rats/mice, you will have snakes.

Another Milwaukee user. M18 only however. I do have one of the earlier Milwaukee Nicad battery units and it was useless. Also have an old Chicago Pneumatic gun which still works! Good set of videos by Project Farm on YouTube testing tools, check out

ISP reported an attempted attack from locations in the Far East. Apparently the IP addresses were very familiar to the ISP from other attempted attacks on other sites they host. Blocked them in mass and everything seems to have settled back to normal! 😀

If you get an email saying your password is expiring do not click on the link. It is a phishing attack attempting to get your login information. We do not have a password expiration policy at this site so ignore and delete any such emails. I do recommend setting a unique password for this site, and using a unique passwords for other sites you visit. I also recommend using the two factor authorization option on your account for additional security.
