eric wissing Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I agree, the second one is nicer. The interior of the first doesn't match well. Good Luck on the birthday!! Eric Quote
Reg Evans Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 No problem Ed. I'll forward your birthday wish along to the seller. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Royal-EXCELLENT-CONDITION-PERFORMANCE-55-dodge-hemi_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6210QQihZ005QQitemZ150246457220QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Ed, I see you don't ask for much. FYI, my birthday isn't coming up any longer. It's here today. Maybe Dennis Hemingway's wife will send me her 56 Chevy for my birthday. I doubt it though. By the way, I'm not another year older though. Just one day older than yesterday. Quote
Young Ed Posted May 16, 2008 Author Report Posted May 16, 2008 Norm to be fair my birthday isn't until the end of July. I wanted you guys to have plenty of time to get the car paid for and shipped up here. Happy Birthday too. Hope you are going out for a nice dinner or something fun Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Norm to be fair my birthday isn't until the end of July. I wanted you guys to have plenty of time to get the car paid for and shipped up here. Happy Birthday too. Hope you are going out for a nice dinner or something fun Thanks Ed, Actually you sound a little like my wife. She wanted to know where I wanted to go out and eat tonight and what I wanted to do. Told her it was just another day as far as I'm concerned. So.........I'm working as usual. It is a nice day out today so maybe I'll take off in the afternoon. As far as going out to eat, I'd rather stay home and eat hot dogs than to go out for a steak dinner any day of the year. Don't care for eating out because I did it for so many years when I was on the road. So.......we are staying home tonight. She's not going to fix hot dogs though because she doesn't like them. Don't know what will be on the dinner plate. Will be a surprise I guess. Quote

JerseyHarold Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Norm, Happy Birthday. My daughter turned 17 today (same date as yours... you should be honored!) and passed her road test this morning on the first try. All the best.... Harold Quote
oldmopar Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Norm,Happy Birthday. My daughter turned 17 today (same date as yours... you should be honored!) and passed her road test this morning on the first try. All the best.... Harold Harold, Since Norm has had many birthdays and already has a nice Plymouth I think you should buy one of the Plymouths in the links above for your daughter it would be a nice 1st car for her and maybe she will let you drive it on your birthday Ed Quote
JerseyHarold Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 My daughter, believe it or not, seriously wants a '67 Belvedere. She's been in love with them for years. I've told her if a really, really cheap one came along I'd consider it. Both my wife and son think my daughter and I are nuts! Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Not to stir up bad memories but I am sure we could get up a collection and send you a 1/43 scale model...I'm going to my corner now...time out in order... Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Thanks guys. Didn't mean to hijack Ed's post. Jersey Harold: Hope your daughter had a nice birthday yesterday too. I'm sure she did since she passed her drivers test the same day. Sounds like you'll be busy finding and fixing up a 67 Plymouth now. Quote
Young Ed Posted May 17, 2008 Author Report Posted May 17, 2008 Dont worry about it Norm. I started this just to be goofy and show the 55 dodge I found. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Happy B-day, Norm. (As always, I'm a day late.) Hope you had something good for supper. Bob Quote
