Heavy Flat Head Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 Not sure if I will be on the planet tomorrow, I am giving this link to my wife so she can learn the right way to drive the Plymouth. http://www.barricksinsurance.com/GoodHousekeeping.html Wish me luck. Ed. Quote

Niel Hoback Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 My neighbor has a funeral home, should I have him contact you? or is it too late? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Hey guy..take her on a vacation to Stepford..this can be arranged...(the original not the remake) Quote
Oldguy48 Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I fear this forum is about to lose a member tomorrow. R.I.P. Quote
Guest rockabillybassman Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 You want your wife to be GAY? Quote
50PlymouthSled Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Lol. The many joys of telling a woman what to do. And the ever so many present ways for her to do it wrong. It's best to tell her "Just don't drive it" rather then "teach" her. In my opinion. Haha. Good luck though. Quote
Heavy Flat Head Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 Guess what? I am still alive. It took her about an hour for her to quiet laughing. Then she ask me what was my life line on my hand like? I looked at my hand and it has no life lines. I might need that home. Ed. use to be Quote
Normspeed Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I'm thinking your screen name may soon describe not just your engine, but your anatomy. Beware of cast iron skillets. Quote
p10plymouth Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Only trouble I see is when you print this .. Its too hard to read! wonder if a woman made this ...? Quote
Tom Skinner Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 To Print, use save a my pictures, then go to my pictures, and print. You will get it all then. By the way my wife works for Domestic Attorneys they have this posted on the bulletin board at work. So women might learn how to behave. Good advice for any couple, I should think. My dad expected this from my mother and it was ok then, why not now? Why not now? Because women want to wear the pants today, and a bunch of pansies are letting them. Here is some advise..... Be like Pop not like Sis lift the seat before you piss. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 My wife use to complain about me not putting the toilet seat back down after lifting it. I simply said; "You don't lift it for me after you use it each time." Each time I said that, I would always get "The Look". However, I never hear her complain about it anymore. I will also say that same thing to other women if we are visiting and the subject comes up. Hey, their arms aren't broke and the seat isn't that hard to put back down. Funny story about toilet seats being lifted. Back in the 70's my first wifes mother was visiting us for a week or so. She was in her mid 70's at the time. Well...........one night she got up in the middle of the night to go. The bathroom had a night light so she didn't turn on the bathroom light. She then sat on the toilet to go and either myself or my son had used it last, so..........the seat was up. Well, you can picture what happened because she didn't see the seat was up. :D Quote
50PlymouthSled Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I wonder if a woman made this. Lol. That's funny. And your anatomy, that's also rather humorious. Glad to see you're still alive none the less. Quote
p10plymouth Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 One last thing.... I printed this and showed some guy friends ... One looks at me and tells me his Church has this couple thing ( week-end seminars) ... And SOME of the things I read to him are what they tell the ladies!.. (for real !) Quote
teardrop puller Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Here in Mexico about half of the houses do not use a seat. Haven't figured out why yet, but think it was cost and now it is habit. No worry about putting the seat back down here/ kai Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 SUBMIT....OBEY oh yeah..these are the words... Quote
Mr. Belvedere Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 I knew there was some reason I loved the fifties, besides the cars. Quote
50PlymouthSled Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 You have a point, Bel. How times have changed. What happened to the good ol' days? Quote
thedahmer Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 Well, I showed that to My wife, I will be sleeping inthe wagon this weekend=== Quote
RobertKB Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 I was six in 1955 and I don't ever remember my mother behaving like that or my dad expecting it. They are both still going and have been married 64 years so I guess it did not apply to all couples. Quote
Guest rockabillybassman Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 I think that behaviour was more of a prewar thing. By the 50s it was being usurped as women started getting jobs and having their own money. The war had shown them that they could be independent. That article was an attempt to bring back attitudes that were rapidly changing. Quote
Heavy Flat Head Posted May 3, 2008 Author Report Posted May 3, 2008 I was 8 when that was written, I can say without a doubt my dad would of been mince meat if he tried any of that. We can only dream, but in all serious I would rather have a partner than another child. I have been redeemed. Ed. Quote
