homebrewer Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Had a great time yesterday at the Pilothouse BBQ in Clements Ca. Pretty small turnout of cars and trucks, seemed to be more people than there were older vehicles. I guess some just came in their everyday transportation. Met people from around a 200 miles radius of the Lodi area. The place was a little hard to find,( Damn Map quest) but we finally made it. Todd Fitch was there with his 33 Sedan, and there was a sweet 53 plymouth sedan with all the proper vintage speed goodies. And of course lets not forget the Dodge Pilothouses. There were about a half dozen in all shapes and phases of restoration. From totally completed to barn finds. One even had a hemi in it. It was a nice clean installation. There also was an old Dodge Fire Engine from the Calif. Dept. of Forestry. Being and Ex fireman myself, I thought that was kinda cool My wife was supposed to bring her camera, but it ended up sitting on the kitchen table when we left. ( It was my job to make sure we had everything). Any way, hope we can have some more of these functions in the area soon. George Quote

TodFitch Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 A 52, and thank you,, And the split exhaust on it sounds wonderful. Who needs a V8 transplant when you have that look and sound? The AC on your car would have been appreciated by my wife on the trip home too. Quote

We did enjoy the AC,,,,,,,,, I turned it off climbing Sunol Pass just to be cautious of heating up. But other than that it was on big time,, Tim has a garage we all dream about,,,,,,,,, Quote
