Young Ed Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Joe I opened the trunk of one in a yard here and it was full of old toliets. How's that for ya! I've got a couple coins and a plastic toy airplane that I found in this plymouth. The dash and the rear window mouldings from this coupe are going to end up in my car. I think I got a good rear window crank from it too. Quote
Young Ed Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Greg this picture is for you. I'm sure you'll see what i mean Quote
greg g Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I could use that door and mirror if its available Quote
Young Ed Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 That picture is a couple summers old but I wouldn't be surprised if they are still there. I will be in touch if I am headed to that yard this spring/summer Quote
JerseyHarold Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Hidden girlie mags reminded me of the time my friends and I were furnishing our off-campus apartment in Buffalo. We bought a nice sofa from a very dignified woman in a beautiful old home. When we moved it from its spot in her living room, there were a few girlie mags under it. Her mortified look was priceless! Joe Flanagan Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 The old man probably had some extracurricular activity going on when she was snoring away in the bedroom. I'll bet it was a lively household after you guys left with the sofa. Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 Down 210 there is a place called Marshal hall, it is on the river, there are some olds cars and amusement ride left overs down there, we went to look at some of the junk and found some chicks wading in the water. Some had tops on and some had tops off, magine their surprize:o we watched for a few min. before they spotted us. Although I had my camera I was not quick enough to take some pic's, I don't think I was the same after that:cool: WOW that kind of photo opp. doesen't happen in the modern era. Quote

Rodney; Are you sure they were chickens and not ducks? Chicks normally dont like the water. And one more thing. You watched for a few minutes but you were not quick enough to take some pic's:confused: What exactly were you doing in those few minutes? Quote
Don Coatney Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 He was fumbling with his f-stop. I agree with the fumbling part:D Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 Sometimes things are hiding in plain sight like this P-4 engine.Sometimes its a one eyed Dodge P/U lurking in the trees. You guys don't have the market cornered when it comes to vines and such growing up as evidenced by the Mopar and the Stude here. This International truck also had it made in the shade. I love that stude! Quote
50PlymouthSled Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Hahaha, you guys are too funny. Makin' me laugh over here. Nice after my day at work. Haha. And lots of good info/insight? Watch out for wasp nests, and "guy on guy" mags. Haha, I think I'll just stick to finding decent parts. Quote
50PlymouthSled Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I'm not much a fan of the Studes. Something 'bout that ugly front section. Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 To me it seems kind of like early Space Age. If I found a decent one it could very well become my next project. I love that front end. Like something from the Jetsons. Quote
