No not really. I actually only met him a few times when I was older. Last time I saw him he was telling me about how he was going over there to train them.

So sorry to hear that Ed. I have a very close friend that works over there. He's the manager in charge of the food service that provides all of the food for the troops. He comes home often but every time I chat with him on line or in person I tell him to keep his head down. I worry that this might happen to him some day too.. But they are doing what they feel is necessary for the cause.

Unknown at this time. I suspect it will be a few days before any plans are known

Sorry to hear about your cousin, Ed. Those guys have a rather tough job and

I admire them for doing it. Our grandson is in the Air Force.....will be going someplace in Iraq at the first of the year.

Thanks everyone for the comforting words. Wake and funeral were thurs/friday. Just wanted to share how good of a sendoff they had for Bill. At the funeral they had the honor guard do a flag folding ceremony and presentation of the colors. Also as the family walked to the front of the church there was shoulder to shoulder police and sheriffs standing and saluting. Patriot guard was outside both days as well. And being outside holding a flag in 0 degree weather couldn't have been pleasant.
