1936 P2 windshield wiper switch

blue p15

Recommended Posts

Does anybody have a picture of original wiper switches for a 1936 P2. Mine are totally non-existent, so I don't even know what they are supposed to look like!   Of course, if you happen to have a couple of them in your extra parts box, be sure to let me know!

Many thanks, guys!!

You would have had a vacuum wiper motor made by Trico:

I have more info and if you want the whole catalog contact me at Rich Hartung   Desoto1939@aol.com

Here is some info taken from my Trico catalog

The grid below is a list of replacement motors made by trico.

It's a short rod that pokes out through the panel over the windshield.  Each motor has one as they're controlled individually.  Has a rubber button/bumper that slips over it. You can control wiper speed by how far the lever is pulled (well somewhat).  Must have cause a lot of forehead injuries in the days before seat belts!
