ABLANKMINUTE Posted March 25, 2021 Report Posted March 25, 2021 Currently finishing up a project and am on the hunt for a longtime dream ride. I've been looking to come across a 50's Dodge Postal Fageol, and the stars have never aligned. I'll have my 1960 Chevy forward control Step van on the road soon and figured I'd throw out a line since my garage will have an empty spot..... Quote
JerseyHarold Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 Are you referring to a Dodge Route Van? Quote
tom'sB2B Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 I'm guessing something like this. I'll keep my eyes peeled, but I'm guessing they're pretty rare. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) There's one in Seattle in south downtown area...or was a couple years ago. Edited March 27, 2021 by Dodgeb4ya Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 North 54 Auto Salvage in Alamogordo, NM used to have several complete ones in their yard, that actually belonged to the Postal Service when new. Still had the remnants of USPS paint. Probably "unfortunately", as it's been at least 25 years since I was in that yard, and I know they've cleared a lot out since then. Quote
ABLANKMINUTE Posted March 27, 2021 Author Report Posted March 27, 2021 Yes the funky little yellow one Tom posted, but the routes have a special place in my heart as well. By the way I'm thoroughly impressed with the reach this forum has. I'll be looking into your lead Dan. Thanks everyone! Quote
ABLANKMINUTE Posted March 27, 2021 Author Report Posted March 27, 2021 Any Dodge route van sightings? Quote
