Bigscooter Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 Hey guys, I have recently stumbled across a complete front chassis clip from what looks like a 50s Plymouth. It appears that someone was upgrading their front suspension and then decided to go a different direction and cut the whole clip off. my question is do you recognize this front Disk kit? I'm hoping to put it on my '52 Plymouth suburban. I think I can pick it up pretty reasonably Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 is that an alloy hub...if so, odds are it may be Scarebird.....flash that name back to the owner and see if it joggles his memory. Quote

It used to belong to his late uncle. He really knows nothing about it Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 got you, question still remains...is it alloy, surely he can answer that question..... Quote
Bigscooter Posted February 1, 2021 Author Report Posted February 1, 2021 This is zoomed in on the same shot Quote
Hamilton Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 If it's a Scarebird their name will be stamped on the adapter plate that's bolted to the hub. _ 1 Quote
Adam H P15 D30 Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 I hope that rotor is just sitting on the spindle part way and not installed fully.... 1 Quote
DJ194950 Posted February 1, 2021 Report Posted February 1, 2021 I believe that the ECI also uses a aluminum hub in their kits ?? Many of their products do. Just a possibility. DJ 1 Quote

Just a possibility. DJ Looks a lot like my ECI kit. The calipers are huge. it should fit the OP’s car but they won’t be able to use stock wheels because of that caliper size. Quote
allbizz49 Posted February 2, 2021 Report Posted February 2, 2021 Not sure about the brakes but the shock relocation is nice. Similar to what I am doing. Quote
