pflaming Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) I have installed so I sit centered to the steering wheel, yet it is a long reach to get into it. What have others experienced. My car is a ‘53 Plymouth. I agree with a later post, the head rests will go. Edited January 15, 2020 by pflaming Quote
Los_Control Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 Toss in a couple sleeping bags and take the wife on a beach cruise .... like you did 30 years ago and just forgot Quote

Adam H P15 D30 Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 I've put buckets in a few cars, I think they look better without the headrests. 1 Quote
Dave72dt Posted January 15, 2020 Report Posted January 15, 2020 If it's possible, you might try lowering the seats an inch or two. Pulling the sliders off would give you an inch to experiment with ease of entering. Another option , if you're going to redo the upholstery on them, pull some of the bolster padding out of the bottom seat portion. Quote
maok Posted January 15, 2020 Report Posted January 15, 2020 Go back to the bench seat, IHMO, buckets look awful in pre '60's cars. 2 Quote
