Hi everyone, I'm trying to confirm what dash I have. I bought what I was told is a 1942 canadian dodge (the grille and fenders also indicate that) just that I cant find any info on my dash and all that comes up is an "american" dash

Looks to me like a dash from a 46-48 Plumouth P15 Deluxe (the cheaper model).  It might fit your car if yours looks like a Plymouth.  It does not have the radio grille in the center. And that steering wheel/horn button look like from a Deluxe.  Does your car have a dash now?

looks very much like a P15 dash that has been modified.  The outboard ends, gauge cluster and glove box appear correct. The center has been modified, deleting the radio and speaker grill.

Also missing the accessory switch panel that houses the IGN switch, heater fan defroster and cig lighter.  Looks like my P 15 deluxe dash except for the medalion.  Speedo in mph not kilometers.  My deluxe horn is a button rather than the upmarket with the ring on the steering wheel.

yes   but the Plymouth bodied cars outnumbered the U S. based Dodge by far.

Also does not appear to have the hole for the push button start at the drivers side end of the dash.

for plymouth at least 42 still had floor starting.
