1949 Wraith Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 I think they came with an ornament up to 1950, then be bought as an accessory after that. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 I believe ornaments were all the way back to 48 Quote

'48-50 in Canada and maybe the US the trucks had an ornament from the factory. 1951 in Canada the truck came without an ornament, but they were available at extra cost. So, those hood ornaments are on both cars and trucks? Or, are some of them used on cars, and others on trucks? I'm particularly interested in the illustrated 1956 shown as I thought it was for cars, and am surprised if it is also used on trucks. Thanks for clearing this up for me. ? Quote

Dodgeed Posted November 25, 2019 Report Posted November 25, 2019 Fernando, thanks; that is just what I needed. I knew that '56 was for a car, thought I was losing my mind that it might be a truck hood ornament. Pictures are worth a thousand words. ? Quote
