Dodgeb4ya Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Should be mounted on the firewall drivers side. 1 Quote
dpollo Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 near the voltage regulator and horn relay Quote
greg g Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Is it a factory setup or aftermarket clamp on switch assembly? Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Depending on the model most 1951 Plymouth's came with factory T/signal switches built into the steering column. Never a clamp on. Quote
Sniper Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 Turn signals were an extra cost option for Plymouth in 1951. Mine didn't have one from the factory. Someone added one of those clamp on units mentioned. I just resurrected it on my 51 Cambridge today. It works fine, now, as long as you remember to cancel it as it is not self cancelling. Extra loud flashers help there, lol. Quote
