Hotrod tractor is MIA for over a year....and I never had a phone number for him or really his real name so no means to check on him.  We swapped PMs quite frequently and then one day....no more replies and it was to me strange as we were in the middle of a conversation.

Anyone have any  knowledge as to his current status?

Thank you for letting me know!

Can anyone confirm that the threaded hole in the right rear top corner of the head (heater coolant source) is 5/8"?

HotRodTractor,

Did you try that one?  Looking for a heater control valve workaround for my B-3-B...  The price is VERY promising!

I never installed the heater - it still sits under my bench in the garage. Life kinda got in the way.

I'm still around - I don't recall being in the middle of a conversation, but I am sorry about making it feel like I ghosted you. LOTS have been going on over the last couple of years. I haven't had much time spent on the vehicles as I have been wrapped up in old tractors and their problems.

thanks for dropping it....we were exchanging PM and not on the open forum at the time.....excellent to know you alive and been tied up in other activities...while not a tractor, I am engaged in rehosting an engine on a Bobcat skid loader and close to engine start now.  Adapting the hydraulic at this time.

Maybe post some tractor content in the off topic area. I've got this one waiting in the wings but it might squeak by enough to be in the truck forum

The original heater valve is stuck open and seized in the head of my P15, I'm afraid to crank down on it because it might break off in the head. I installed a valve in one of the heater hoses which is actuated by a bowden cable I installed in a spare knockout in the dash. Both valve and and cable were sourced from Amazon.
