Silverdome Posted August 28, 2018 Report Posted August 28, 2018 How much is cheap? I prefer affordable as cheap seems to suggest a lesser quality. Quote
bluefoxamazone Posted August 28, 2018 Author Report Posted August 28, 2018 my excuses for not using the correct word.. I meant affordable. After I noticed that some 150 buyers were very satisfied (mostly FORD guys). I thought I'd give it a try. For 30 euro I can't make my hands dirty trying to invent something I can buy... Quote

It won't help much as pictured because you cannot center the shoes inside the drum. That's why the elusive Lockheed tool rotates on the spindle. Also without a way of arcing the shoes, getting a decent pedal, even with the Lockheed tool, is difficult. Edited August 28, 2018 by Adam H P15 D30 2 1 Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted August 28, 2018 Report Posted August 28, 2018 it is not just the precision measurement...but the ability to set this precision measure at all points that is the 360 degree circle that the shoe are positioned in relation to the drum that rides true to the spindle... 2 1 Quote

I would be surprised if the accuracy of that drum caliper is better than 0.01. 1 Quote
