BUMPER QUESTION

Just wondering if anyone put a later model bumper on their truck? I was looking at a bronco rear crome bumper maybe a 70s model looks close.

I have a near perfect S10 rear  bumper that would bolt onto my '52 truck. But I prefer my stock black metal one. Lots of S10's in the salvage yards.

I seem to recall one that had a Ranger pickup bumper.  A Dennis from  MN if I remember correctly.  Bronco II would be the same.

I found an aftermarket bumper on a salvage yard 90s Ram 50, brackets are very close to Pilot-House frame dimensions, planning on putting it on one of my projects

Yes, Dennis had a Ford Ranger bumper on his truck when he got it. He then came across a complete frame with a front bumper and used that to make his truck right again. The Ranger bumper looked OK, but it was too short.

But frankendodge is asking about a rear bumper...

Thanks for the input guys.i have the original bumper for the front. just trying to come up with something that looks good for the back.by the way my truck is on a Dakota frame so I will most likely have to at least modify brackets or make some.

That front bumper on Dennis' truck  looks to be just about right for the rear.
