greg g Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Is the cable the spiral wound or encased in rubber? If its the spiral wound on start soaking it with a penetrating oil. Can you remove it from the heater? If so detach it wire it up to the open hood and get some penetrant down the slider and let gravity pull it down within the sheath. Get up under the dash and do the same. Then you can pull from eaither end rather than trying to push, and you can see if maybe the valve needs to come off and get a good application of penetrant also. Quote

Loosen the clamp and the set screw and pull it out. Quote
