R C 1939 Dodge truck

My cousin has a 1939  Dodge pickup and it's hard to read the tag. I think it says Model RC. Is this correct.

There is a TC = 1939 1/2 ton ,  No RC . Nothing else in 1939 with an R or a C .   There is a 1938 RC = 1/2 ton .

got a picture? possibly a leftover 38 model that got titled as a 39?

I could be wrong on the year, we talked a lot trucks and looked at a few pictures also.  I will not be back that way for a while but I remember the spare tire was and the front right fender which seemed strange to me.  My cousin had the hole welded shut and smoothed over.

That would also indicate that it is more likely a '38. Here's a pic I found on the internet...

1938's are RC....  I own these trucks 1936-1939.
