I did a search and didn't find what I needed. I also have a shop manual and when I look up the section for valve adjustment, it tells me what to remove to get to them and the clearances and thats it. I want to check them while I have the head, intake and exhaust manifolds off. It has been many years since I have done this and that was on a small block chevy. Can someone explain the procedure or point me to a place that does?

After adjusting the valves and you are kicking back with a coffee/brew (your preferrance) Take a minute to brouse the site..lots of info available. Also cruise through the photos on the members page..lots of nice cars here..

Maybe take aminute and update your profile a bit with a picture of your car..your general location..may have a number of members close by.

Wow apparently I've been using those and didn't know it. Now I'm curious what the guys who aren't using these are using?

I planned to have finished this project already but I had a few problems, my split manifold still hasn't arrived yet (might be here today or tomorrow) and then I threw my back out. I have been trying to do little things but there is no way I can bend over the fender of the car to get much done. I'm supposed to be taking it easy and lay on my back. This sucks, I want to get this together.
