:rolleyes: .Clearly you must be looking for the answer you want to hear. I am sorry the answer doesn't suit you. The books all say 8......and until someone comes up with something other than that in published form then 8 it is.

even the Plymouth cars, smaller of the lineup...had 7, 8 or 9 leaves depending of model and wagon till 53/54 when the first set of 5 leaf was stock...so unless anyone can say for certain that they bought the vehicle new, have cared and maintained it themselves over the course o its lifetime...it is anyone's guess what is or is not longer stock on the vehicle......momma's baby..daddy's maybe approach...you were not that 100% of the time

Jeff, Think about basket weaving for a new hobby, no rules on how many staves you can safely use :rolleyes:

:D You know you are right about that. And it is pretty hard to kill or maim some innocent bystander if you goof up on one of those baskets.
