B3B front end body work

Hey , I'm hoping one of you may be able to help us. I bought a 1952 B3B, and we are in the process of doing a basic restoration with a few modest improvements. One problem we have is that when I bought the truck most of the front end sheet metal had already been removed. We are having a little bit of trouble figuring where all the little pieces under the fenders and behind the grill are positioned. The big pieces like the fenders,hood,grill/headlight surround piece are easy to figure out,but we are scratching our heads about the others. Anybody got some photos that would educate me? Thanks in advance for anything you can tell me.

Great help so far. We have two flat pieces with a stamped brace diagonally across each one that I am assuming go behind the grill surround to brace the front of the fenders, but I am not sure. Am I making any sense? Thank you guys for your help.

You guys are great. Between what you posted earlier and this pic of the back side of the grill etc. We're in great shape. I'm psyched about getting this all back together and actually getting the truck running and driving for the first time. Thanks a lot for your help.Dave Charles aka DC1952.

On mine, when I had the brace off, I placed it on top of the fender lip (towards the rear of the truck).  If you sandwhich it between the fender and cowl I think there is going to be too much of a gap.

Brian:  Interesting how that front clip seems to have the old spring hanging there on the inner guard which I suspect was connected to the throttle linkage...

A closer look at this butchered parts truck will show that there is a non-factory heater installed and a starter relay mounted on the firewall, that ain't original either...this is just a roadmap on what the body parts look like installed when all ya have is a pile of metal and an exploded view from the manual, not an opening to start that silly hardware store argument again
