I just bought a 1951 Dodge 1-1/2 flatbed with a broken u-joint. I have tried Napa and my local parts store with no luck. They both said that they don't make that size u-joint anymore. Anybody have any idea where I might get one? It measures 4-1/4" wide. Thanks.

Mopar # 1238416 is the OE #. Search it.

Have you tried any commercial driveline specialty shops?  In our area Fleet Pride services commercial vehicles and they built a new drive shaft with new U-joints and a new yoke for my differential (half-ton).

Fleet Pride in my area also relined my brake shoes for my B3HH....

Hey just trying to help someone out, I know this is old but I came across an NOS u joint 1238416. I was told it was for a 3/4 ton but it's obviously not. I did advertise it but I know it was brought up here so I figured I would let everyone know.

Hey 1949B-1-C, can you measure that u-joint? I may be interested in it.

If it looks like the one above but measures different I might have one too

The u-joint that I am looking for has a 1.142 diameter cap and the distance across the caps is 4.125. A real bugger to find!

1949-B-1-C that looks like the right part number. How much do you want for it and how can I get you the money? PayPal?
