MATT47025 Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 My Dad sent me this picture today. Seems the '50 may last a few more years. It was almost gone when we pulled it from the farmers field with weeds growing around it. 2 Quote
NiftyFifty Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Is that glossy clear? Or flat? The flat seems to hold the original patina look a bit better, but even the glossy clear can be hit with a brillo pad or such and made to be less shiny. Looks good, another truck saved! Quote
pflaming Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Now that is nice! Welcome to the real world. Got more pics? . 1 Quote
Jeff Balazs Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Paul is just showing off. At one point he had the worlds hottest Pilothouse. Once it cooled off and got a clear coat it became ..... El Scorcho. 4 Quote
ruff1148kr Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Looks good she earned every inch of that patina. If I could do my truck all over for my situation, that kind of finsh makes more sense for me. live and learn.. enjoy your new old truck 1 Quote

White Spyder Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Nice. Anyone know where I can find a 57-60 truck for resto-mod? Quote
TrampSteer Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Hey Paul - sure looks like your paint job. Did you help out there? Quote
