Model 46 heater color

Has anyone have the paint code for the Mopar Super Deluxe Model 46 heater.  Just started to re-store and want to do a re-paint.   Thanks.

Your heater appears to be a silver...grey color..........may be correct but I don't know that.

 

Found this Model 36 heater on eBay ..... is about the same color as mine, a sort of metallic light brown.

mine is also closer to the brown.  I painted mine with a hammered gold finish by Rustolelum that is real close.

I did mine with Hammetite brand hammered bronze finish.  Real close to the color that was left on mine your's looks to be more toward silver.  Check out the colors that are available through Rustoleums hammered finish line.  I don't think is as good a product as the Hammerite but I think it is no longer available in the US.

Just came back from autopart store, Lowe's and WalMart,  and all I could find is Rustoleum Hammered brown.  What color do you call the one you used?

And where can I find it?

The can says Rustoleum hammered oatmeal.  Bought it at the local Trustworthy hardware store.

have had steel cut oatmeal...

 

I stopped by the local hardware store today...their paint selection is almost to the point of saying..there is no choice...and what they had was 3.00 + a quart higher..thus the explanation of less stock..it is just not moving at that price.

but haven't had any responses.  The one pictured is what came in mine.  But I also have a model 54, and if they interchange easily without modifying the holes in the dash I might use it.

Just learned that my heater core is leaking and a replacement is $215.  Does anyone know of a source for heater cores?

And also, will the model 54 interchange with the one pictured.
