Spiffy looking little wagon...peaked my curiosity....went to yahoo images to get a look of one in full dress...I like the one on the trailer best due to the color cut lines..the one you picture is also a tourister model by the panorama rear glass with a tad of sky view

Some also came with a sliding cloth sunroof between the wrap over glass. There was even a camping estate option with attachable tent section. Just the thing for holidays in the Worker's Paradise.

My son has contacted the owner about purchase.  The underside is quite rusty,  there is no motor or trans, but is otherwise all there.  Considering the rarity of these, he may buy it and use some of his extras to put it together.  The price is not bad but it would have be moved from Louisville to Fredericksburg Virginia. If he buys it, it will be his fourth Wartburg.  And he says his wife doesn't care!

Update;  seller agreed to $1500 and sent more pictures.  The pictures show large areas of "resin-like" goo covering much of the firewall and underside.  No deal will be made. Too far gone.
