I do like the looks of those cowl mounted mirrors, although the one on the passenger side must be decorative only. I don't think it would be usable to the driver. Even one I had mounted on the passenger side door of my P15 was useless.

By jingies, yer right!

I was so engrossed out by the grill I never noticed the fenders, just the profile. Plus I never really imagined anybody would do that to a DeSoto.

And the dash was/is Plymouth...

this car was probably robbed of its grill and stuck into some chebbie abortion long before it was salvaged

Looks like he had a little accident with his right rear fender.

Damage from the tire when the shackle broke because of the 5" lowering blocks and hit the  back side of the fender and broke out a lot of bondo! Sledge  hammer repair! ^_^

the sills don't line up with the bottom of the fenders either.

Well, they do not - that's the way the rocker sills are from factory.

They are supposed to be covered by the stailless rocker mouldings from rear fender to front wheel opening.

It is my contention that bad publicity is more effective than no publicity. Cannot argue nor express opinions with no publicity.
