Yes every year has a parts manual. You can get reproductions of the originals that are photo copies of the originals.  You do not need an original a photo copy is perfect fpor our usage. Even when showing a car or truck at an AACA or NAtional event does not get you any extra points.  The parts manual is only a reference point incase the jusge is questioning a part that is installed onthe car or truck.

Check onthe bay for a parts book for your car or truck, also sometime you can find them at local swap meets.  The if you have a scanner then scan the various pages so you will always have a saved copy for future use.

I don't think a parts list is reproduced for the 1949 plymouth. There is not  much demand for a 1949 plymouth parts list BTW.... a specific one year only list!.

Is $47.50 too much?

They don't show up often.

A websearch showed one more for $139! Original!

Also a reprint for $50 +4 shipping.

In a way I'd prefer the reprint as it's new heavier paper than the Original I have. Flimsy old paper.

I not sure you will get all the more detailed pics you think will be in it. Not many at all.

Found many more pics. in a 50 Mopar parts book. Also online for around $50.

Could not find an equivalent 49 Mopar parts manuel.

Consulted both on a 50 Suburban with 49 front sheet metal and 50 Ply. 4 dr. stock. Use the 50 book more often as most 49-50 mechanical parts are the same and Some other Mopars.

Up to you and your wallet.

That one in the link above looks like the same type information as in my 46-48 Parts Manual.....with exploded views and

how many fasterners something will require, etc.

They are handy books to me.   I see the same seller had my model book listed at $97......sure glad I bought years ago

for probably $25 or so.

Those books do not tell Everything......but cover most of it.   Good luck on work on your car.
