Well I've been doing work to my 51 front grill section for a few weeks now, shaving the frame slots and a lot of the mounting holes for the grill bars and tonight I decided to see how things would fit to my 50 hood. I knew I would have to slice the centre section down a bit at the nose, but now I realize the wings are different too, not by a lot, but different and want work....and I unfortunately destroyed one side of my 51 hood with the tractor bucket when the chain I was using to move the truck slipped.

I'm back to square one now... The last thing I needed being this late in the summer already

Dang, that's no good. Look on the bright side, summer just began.... :^)

Which side of the hood do you need?

I wrecked the passenger side wing, but I threw an ad up yesterday and got a call right away for a local one, so here's hoping its the right year!

Ship it to Mikes Parcel Service at Pembina ND, then go pick it up, and bring into Manitoba. Mikes charges about $5 for handling, and shipping from any point in the USA will bea lot cheaper, than bringing it into Canada.

I ship to the one at Dunseith all the time, but even shipping to there would most likely cost an arm and a leg unless someone in ND or MN had. I might take the psgr side wing to a buddy who builds hot rods and see if he thinks Its repairable, he does some amazing things with metal that I can dream of

I've got the hood I could pull apart, or if Ed is going back to French Lake soon...we might live in one of those two states...

Much appreciated, I'm going to try a couple of last spots and then I'm going to take you up on your offer, I want to keep moving on this truck and hopefully get it back together by fall

Let me know quick I'll be going either saturday or next week sometime.

Well I'm no where near French lake, or is the hood there? That would be about 11 hour drive :D shipping anywhere in MN shouldn't be too bad to Dunseith ND, but I put an ad up on the local radio station swap n shop and that might get me a few calls I hope

yah French Lake (or one of the near yards here in MN) has what you are looking for and I knew Ed was heading there soon, so he might be able to pick the half you need.
