nonstop Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 Don't know how to post photos, but if you can give me a little more direction (location), I have a parts book sitting here. Although, looking at my 1954 Royal and in the book, all the grill parts are 2 pieces. Quote

nonstop Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Looking at the book, that almost looks like it is for a 1954 Chrysler. The book lists the top bars left and right for a D50 through D51 as follows: 1494649 - Right 1494650 - Left D52 through D53 1541073 - Right 1541074 - Left And for the Chrysler: 1494831 OR 1494984 I didn't see any reference to Canadian cars, so that is likely a different animal. Hope this can help you! Nick Edited June 4, 2014 by nonstop Quote

I don't think that grill bar is for a 54 dodge either.( I posted above ) the 54 dodge are all two pieces upper grill bars . l&r. I did check all the parts suppliers and no luck on the moldings.. I did find out today that the shorter front ended 54 dodges with the raised front lip on the hood have a diifferent uppper grill bar. the striaght length section from the park light is longer by a 1 5/8" . Now I just have to find one.. anyone know of any canadian model 54 dodges out there for parts? let me know . Thanks ! dodge59@wi.rr.com john Quote
Young Ed Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 John why Canadian? The yard I go to has some 53-54s but I doubt any are canadian models. Quote

Ed. the 54 dodges had two different front ends . the hardtops, converts and wagons front ends were 5" shorter than 2 and 4 dr sedan models. along with the raised lip on the front edge of the hood and adjacent fender by the head light.. my convert is one of that style . and the top grill bar is dfferent in length from the park light to where it turns upward shapely by 1 5/8" .. so a sedan will not make the contour correctly. most meadowbrook canadian models have this front end style grill I need. I'm hoping the rest of the grill sections are the same . they appear to be. john Quote
