Young Ed Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Mopars had push buttons 56-64 but none in the steering wheel that I know of. I believe that was a ford prod. thing. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Our local establishment for the insame gives rewards in term of money for those that are certifiable..try to get at least a new Dodge Challenger in the deal... Never seen one myself..but that means little sometimes..lol Quote
greg g Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Edsel had one 57/58 & ? 58. Rambler may have had it in the early 60's, Packard had them in a pod at the end of a column shift lever kind of thing. I think Mercury shared the Edsel "teletouch" sustem in 57/58 Turnpike cruisers I believe my mother had a 62/3 rambler station wagon with push buttons, that I think was in the wheel. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Ford would not have had a successful production automatic as early as they did except for Mopar..they sold them the right to build the Ford unit based on the Mopar tranny. Quote
