Uncle-Pekka Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 Photographs by Charlie Beesley, found at Hemming's web pages: "A brand-new, first-year 1926 Imperial 80 roadster crests a hill somewhere in Michigan" 1 Quote
desoto1939 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 The First picture is a 42 Chrysler. This guy was very lucky to get this car even if it was a used car sin ce there was limited production. Rich HArtung 1 Quote
TodFitch Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 Second picture is a '35 Plymouth. Third looks to me like the first post war Studebaker. Three of four are Chrysler products, I wonder why the third photo isn't. Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted December 20, 2013 Author Report Posted December 20, 2013 Three of four are Chrysler products, I wonder why the third photo isn't. Well, I picked all the MoPars for this forum out of the set published... only three mopars there. The fourth, well, it's the best photograph of them all. The compose of that picture is like a masterpiece painting. The car is 1947 Stu Starlight and obviously a lot of miles travelled by that time already - a road veteran. I figured there would be room for an orphan on this forum, after all, it's Christmas time. 1 Quote
LAKOTA169 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 Although not a Mopar, here is my mom and dad in his 1929 Model A on a trip to Phoenix, Arizona in 1937. 1 Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 I have a few pictures to add to this thread although it should be in the off topic forum. 1 Quote
RobertKB Posted December 21, 2013 Report Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) Yes, our cars were once everyday vehicles and that is why they like to be DRIVEN!! Trailer queens suck! Thanks everyone for posting the pictures. Looks like a couple of cars could use some new tires though! Edited December 21, 2013 by RobertKB 1 Quote
