Saw this online and thought I would pass it on to those who may be interested.

Lets see if I did this right;

SEMA 2013_ Driven’s Carb Defender Helps Protect Carbs From Ethanol - EngineLabs.html

Well, it kinda worked.

Lets see if this one is any prettier;

Oh yeah, go with the second one.

OK...seems that Driven has weighed in..now how about any rebuttal form the major makers of the fuels...one would think that if they were causing all this damage or being blamed for it their anti negative slander fighting lawyers would be boing up on tech savvy to rebut...EVEN IF THEY ARE WRONG...also as this is but one product..and say there are about 10 other makers..NONE will ever report the effectiveness of the other guy but only tout their product as superior....do we get fries with this snake oil is my only question...

Gasoline treatments have been around for years, before E 15, before gasoline-alcohol blends.  Some worked, some didn't.  Change or limit the parameters of the test to get the results you want.  Part of the PR business in advertising.   Only has to be superior to one product to be technically superior.  No fries.

long ago with companies like JC Whitney who was a supplier of many things automotive, reading though any one magazine and buying the purported products that would increase fuel mileage alone would have you pulling off the side of the road and draining the excess fuel from your tank..super enriched oil additives that reduced wear and FRICTION to the point of owning a perpetual engine..or radiator additives that would lower your operating temps to the point one would generate ice cubes for your drinks as you drove across the desert...best thing about all this hype would have been the ability to harness the hot air for a very good tailwind..now that would have been effective

I've got a guy who calculates horsepower based on the advertised percentage of horsepower increases each component can provide.  He can tell you the exact horsepower any engine of his produces without ever putting it on a dyno.  Ends up with some enthusiastic numbers.

As I have said many many times. You can buy your dog a diamond studded collar. The dog could care less but if it makes you feel better then buy it. Same applies to this and most all engine additives. If it makes you feel good then buy it. Personally I will save my money.

But is says;

“Carb Defender protects the fuel-system components from the ethanol.”

So it's got to BE good.

A diamond studded dog collar just LOOKS good.

If sounding good makes you feel better then go for it -_-

I dont know how else to 'load' it.

It's about a new product that is 100 times stronger than duct tape.

BYU student Spencer Quinn invented it. It's called Fiber Fix.

The link will not play on my puter

Not sure if you need to actually visit the site to get some cookies set or not to get them to dish out the file to you. . .

But stripping away all the HTML, Javascript, Flash Player, etc. crap on the web page, the video they play appears to be http://media.ksl.com/1382491408-1924422082.mp4

And that appears to play just fine on my computer.

I wonder what the water setting material is that they've impregated the cloth with.
