Duskylady Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 Greetings! I am new to your forums. My 1948 Plymouth Convertible is getting modified and I can't for the life of me find the "plugs" for the radio delete plate. Can anyone please point me in the right direction with a part name and/or place to find? I have attached a picture. Thanks much! Quote
Solution greg g Posted September 3, 2013 Solution Report Posted September 3, 2013 Seems like you source something to work from the Dorman Help catalog, or the smalls bins at the hardware store. 1 Quote
Duskylady Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Brilliant! That will work beautifully. Already found the part. Thanks much! Quote

How did you get that lime green "Plymouth" plastic dash plate lime green and still keep the "Plymouth"? Quote
Young Ed Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 How did you get that lime green "Plymouth" plastic dash plate lime green and still keep the "Plymouth"? The plymouth is cast into the plastic. If you remove the old paint you could repaint it however you wish. Quote
_shel_ny Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 In addition to what Ed said, it is painted from the back. Quote
Duskylady Posted September 5, 2013 Author Report Posted September 5, 2013 I found http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-532-02412.aspx that would work. I'm going to order and try it out. Bet it will work. Quote
Duskylady Posted September 5, 2013 Author Report Posted September 5, 2013 The green is indeed painted from the back. I used some model car paint I. Silver with a tiny paint brush to touch up the lettering then sprayed the back of the piece with green. Ta da! 1 Quote
